LinkedIn Groups	LinkedIn is the leading professional networking site, where thousands of SJSU alumni and students have registered. SJSU Alumni Association LinkedIn Group – Connects over 2,200 alumni. College of Business, San Jose State University – “Current students or alumni of the College of Business at San Jose State University may join this group for professional networking purposes. Hire a Spartan today.” SJSU Business MIS Alumni Network – “Graduates of San Jose State University College of Business with the MIS Concentration” San Jose State University MBA Association – “This group is open to all current SJSU MBA students, as well as SJSU MBA alumni. SJSU Alumni Association inCircle	The SJSU Alumni Association sponsors inCircle to connect all SJSU undergraduate and graduate alumni. inCircle enables alumni to share messages, events, job opportunities, profiles, pictures, and more. Within inCircle there are many special interest groups you can join. To join this official SJSU-sponsored service, go to the SJSU inCircle home page. Classmate Directories	There are a number of Internet sites which provide a means for former classmates to keep in contact with each other. If you’re looking to reconnect with a particular classmate that you can’t find using LinkedIn or inCircle, you may find the following sites useful: Classmates – You need to pay to send an email to a classmate. Alumni.NET – This site is free, but you’ll need to navigate a number of annoying pop-up windows. Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society Groups	Invitations to the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society are offered to the top business students in AACSB accredited programs. The Beta Gamma Sigma San Francisco Area Alumni Chapter sponsors a LinkedIn Group for members of its chapter. These groups enable members to connect with over 600 fellow members who are alumni of such Bay Area schools as Stanford University, UC Berkeley, Santa Clara University, and San Jose State University. MIS Yahoo! Groups	The SJSU MIS department offers both alumni and students the sjsumisdept1 Yahoo! Group to provide announcements and distribute information, including job opportunities. Note that this group is configured so that only the group owner may post messages to this group. SJSU MIS alumni may stay in contact with each other and share information via the SJSU MIS Alumni Network Yahoo! Group. Email traffic for this site is very light.
